Not at all! This workshop is open to everyone, complete beginners included. We'll walk you through the whole process together, from your first touch of the clay to shaping those raw, architectural surfaces. You'll leave with a finished set you made entirely by hand.
-
Your own brutalist objects: functional ceramic pieces in raw stoneware, with clean geometric forms and visible metal details. You'll shape them by hand and build in metal elements (bolts, nuts, eye bolts) as real parts of the structure, not just decoration. Each piece stands on its own, or works together with the others as a set.
-
By the end of the day you'll have shaped your own brutalist objects: raw materials, honest construction and simple forms. Ceramics can't go home straight away: each piece still needs to dry and be fired in the kiln. We'll take care of that and get in touch once your pieces are ready.
-
Just yourself and a bit of curiosity! We've got everything covered, stoneware, tools and all the metal hardware. Come ready to get your hands dirty.
-
Everything you need for the day: stoneware, tools and metal hardware, plus hands-on guidance through the full making process, so you go home with a set you're proud of.
