Structural Failure is a collection of unique, numbered pieces. Each one is wheel-thrown in grey chamotted stoneware, then cut and broken open at the base until the form stands on its own fractures. No two failures are alike, and none can be repeated.
No. 05 grows out of the betòn bowl: a fractured bowl with two stainless steel eye bolts fixed through the wall, made to rest chopsticks across the rim.
